What We Offer:

Five wonderful rooms at Oxford Town Hall are licensed for civil weddings and partnerships with each unique room adorned with traditional Victorian décor. The jewel in our crown is the Main Hall with its breath-taking ceiling, beautiful balconies and a dancefloor large enough for 500 people to dance the night away. The stage has played host to the Rolling Stones and David Bowie, and saw Nelson Mandela accept his Freedom of the City Award so you really will be in good company here.

The open days are amazing, the place just oozes history. If you’re lucky enough to see the crypt that is not always open to the public and upstairs the function rooms and the old court.
Reviewed in the context of visiting for a concert the Oxford Town Hall is a good venue. The high vaulted ceilings allowed the Orchestra’s music to reverberate nice round the hall. The Hall itself is a lovely old building full of big spaces. Seating wasn’t too packed in, so it didn’t feel too busy, maybe 500 people in total. The bar was a little understaffed at the interval which put some people off buying drinks.
Nice venue for formal events; especially the CAMRA ale and cider festival.

What a beautiful and professional venue. We used Ardington House as our filming location for an upcoming television show. It was extremely refreshing to have an A* Team of staff who were personable and nothing was too much trouble. Strongly recommend using Ardington House as your venue, whether that be for telly, a wedding or private function. Everything was flawless. Kingston Bagpuize House remains a family home. Surrounded by garden and parkland this beautiful early Georgian style house is in red brick with stone quoins, banding and window surrounds.
Well worth a visit. Lovely formal gardens and parkland with some lovely copses. Impressive house and delicious coffee and homemade cake!
On behalf of Dom and Chloe, this is such a fabulous venue. Everyone had a brilliant time and we were all looked after so well. Such a beautiful place to get married. Thank you for having us
