I don’t normally leave reviews but I have to do one for the guys at Abingdon Beds. My fiancé and I have had a budget mattress from Amazon for the last year and a half and finally decided we needed a new mattress. We went to Abingdon Beds and came away with a mattress that was previously on the store floor for about half price.
Great service all round. We had a mattress on a 7 day trial and no quibbling they changed it even though they couldnt do it soon after the 7 days. We then opted for a different option altogether, paid the understandable price difference and they obliged. The paperwork for this wasnt quite right so we had to have another exchange but all staff that we dealt with were very obliging, professional and above all else kept their word. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.
I purchased this mattress in the photograph from Abingdon Beds and the workmanship of this mattress was unprofessional. It is still under guarantee but Abingdon Beds are not prepared to replace the mattress.

Visiting the Oxford showroom is a five star experience. Patrick makes the choice of a mattress enjoyable, taking one’s time, trying everything, and without the slightest pressure from him.
This is a wonderful shop and a fantastic customer experience from start to finish! Patrick is enormously kind and really cares about helping people find what’s right for them. I really wouldn’t bother going anywhere else for anything bed related.
First class service exactly as it should be and rarely is, Patrick the owner is genuinely friendly and knowledgable, and not at all pushy or ‘salesman-ish’. Having shopped extensively for a mattress with natural fillings, and thinking a Vispring was out of my price bracket, I wish I had simply visited here first and saved myself hours and hours of research and being subjected to the hard sell by big retailers. Highly recommend. PS: They have a carpark

So so impressed with this local company. Make sure you ask for Emma. I tried almost every mattress, Emma patiently talked me through ALL the options, helped me find the right headboard, and I managed to get base, mattress AND the headboard I wanted all in one place.

My daughter recommended it and I have been looking on the internet and trying other shops for weeks, with no success. It looks a bit “ cut price” from the outside,
