Delicious baguettes, coffee and pastries. The Portuguese nata tarts are spectacular and they also have an outstanding offer of teas. Really cosy place.
Great staff member with helpful advices on which desert to get! Ut was nice that it had gluten free and vegan options as well. Would love to try their coffee next time. The donuts was lovely! But having this in a box for takeout might be better since it got smushed in the backpack haha Very clean and nice amount of hand sanitisers inside as well 🙂 Would love to come in to work in the future

Yellow Submarine Charity

12 Park End St, Oxford OX1 1HH, United Kingdom
What We Offer:

Yellow Submarine is an award-winning Oxfordshire charity that believes people with learning disabilities and autism deserve to live life to the full. We tackle the problem that many people with learning disabilities leave school with limited life skills and as a result poor life chances. This often leads to isolation and being marginalised. Our projects start working with young people in community settings from the age of 11 onwards, to build their social skills, confidence, independence and ultimately their employability.

The Staff were friendly and welcoming introduced themselves and even told about the aim of the Cafe which is training young people who have learning disabilities many skills required in running the Cafe with a view to getting future employment.
Good coffee, but absolutely no seating. Great spot to drop by for coffee, but definitely no place to study or work or eat. Staff asked (very politely albeit) me and my roommate to leave to free up seating because we took up the only two seats to study after buying coffee.
A lovely little gem in Oxford. I heard it was a cafe supported by a charity for young adults with additional needs and I had to come by! I was served by a lovely young man and the coffee was delicious. Then went back for a bacon sandwich. So wonderful to see a business actually making a difference in people’s lives.
