Fabulous lunch with my dad and sister. We had the Amsterdam Yacht sharing platter. Much more interesting than the standard fish & chips offered by most pubs. This friendly community pub has been our local for years, and Karen & Jules with their Go Dutch food just makes it even better. Great food, great service. Will certainly come back for more.
We tried the houseboat platter twice, absolutely amazing! It arrived on time and still warm on both occasions. Fish, chips, prawns and calamari are perfectly fried and super tasty, and the Dutch sauces are great. Strongly recommended! Also, the portions are very abundant
Such a treat! The platter was delicious – a very gourmet fish and chips. We phoned ahead and collected on route. Easy card payment. Thanks guys

Great food, great prices, great portion sizes and great owners. All food is freshly cooked too so its even better! You can ring your order through then collect it to save some time, you can also order online and have it delivered
The chips were so good, no grease at all, bloody miracle! The fried chicken was a bit greasy but it was tasty and served with a friendly smile.
I ordered a large Haddock and was very surprised that the batter was still crispy when I got it on a plate. No grease and the fish was very tasty too.

This is the best fish that I have had from a fish and chip shop, even from my local which is down here in Somerset. Used to live locally but moved, would happily move back just for the fish, batter was so light unbelievable. Looking forward to visiting again.
Great local fish and chips.. but they let me down and forgot to add the curry sauce I’d paid for, also didn’t ask if I’d like salt and vinegar.
Fantastic service always from Village Plaice especially from Elvio (sorry if spelt incorrectly) food has always been great aswell as friendly and respectful service. We are in temp accommodation and still amazing service.
