The whole experience of choosing a new sofa is a pleasure at Derwent House. The staff are lovely, polite and very knowledgeable. They have a wide selection of fabric swatches to choose from and sofas to sit on until you find the right one for you. Nothing is too much trouble for them and you feel very comfortable wandering around the shop with no pressure.
Got very good and clear advice on curtain fabric, great selection to choose from, partners for make-up and hanging of curtains were first class. Very professional overall experience. They took time to help us get our choice right in a friendly and relaxed setting. Staff were engaged in helping us all the way through.
What a totally wonderful shopping experience stepping through the doors of Derwent House. The staff are a pleasure to deal with and incredibly knowledgeable. Over the past year we have purchased a number of beautiful pieces from an elegant handmade sofa, stunning Tingewick pottery lamps, a striking Sentinel lamp from Pablo – the list goes on. I love visiting the shop for a browse whenever I am in the area.

Although it is a little out of the way, there is easy bus access & lots of free parking. Excellent selection of chairs, coverings & styles to test. Staff are busy, however they do not scrimp on the time they spend advising clients. Wheelchair friendly too.
Excellent, friendly service from Pauline. Just hope their furniture lives up to the standard of staff.
Sells great chairs, all styles. Very good, specially made for each person. Can choose colour and style of the chair you purchase. Can be expensive, but it is well worth it. As they are wonderful products.
