I booked my brother in for a psychiatric assessment with the Oxford Brain and Mind clinic. The team at the clinic were fantastic! They were warm and welcoming, and booking the appointment was incredibly easy, unlike many other places that I’ve contacted in the past. As a relative to someone with an anxiety disorder, I felt comfortable enough to ask questions (with consent), and felt I left the follow up assessment with a better understanding of anxiety and how it was affecting my brother. I felt reassured of the specific treatment that was available. As a whole, the experience was lovely, the team were great, and the clinic itself was very cosy. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone dealing with mental health issues.
From start to finish the experience with the team at Oxford Brain and mind has been exceptionally. The whole rtms process with what is likely to happen and questions or queries through out our sessions been explain to me. The outcome has been life changing and I can’t thank them enough. Keep up the good work.

We also understand the difficulties faced by patients during the transition from adolescence to adulthood, which is often a time when young people are transferred to different services and continuity of care may be lost. At the Oxford ADHD & Autism Centre we are able to ensure this continuity by offering a lifespan service. All of our staff at Oxford ADHD & Autism Centre have a high level of experience working within these specialties and include Psychiatrists, Psychologists, a specialist Paediatrician, an Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist and specialist coaches. We are all aware of the difficulties and challenges faced by our patients and their families and the wider impact on their lives, including school, work and friendships.

I was diagnosed at 19 which is quite late, but they really helped me understand myself and the world around me. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and they continuously make me feel really safe and valid as a neurodivergent person! The receptionists are absolutely lovely, and so willing to help too! I had an issue with medication and called feeling rather distressed, but the lovely receptionist Caroline calmed me down and helped me sort everything out. I just want to say a big Thankyou to everyone here for the amazing work you do.

I would like to thank all the staff for seeing my child in April 2021. Today I have a different child who enjoys life and can live a better life !
The understanding and respect you gave us was outstanding.

All staff are friendly and helpful.
