I had a great consultation with Professor Gwilym. He was very friendly and approachable, explained everything thoroughly to me and got the process of fixing my shoulder moving very quickly. Highly recommend.
He gave me a clear and detailed diagnosis and explanation of my condition along with a clear account of treatment options and which one he believed would be the best for me. This information he delivered in a calm friendly manner.
Prof Gwilym took the time to explain my mother’s condition to her clearly and audibly (she is very deaf!) and was able to answer all her questions regarding treatment options. He was kind and sympathetic. Altogether a positve experience.

Having my hip replaced in my 50s was a life enhancing experience – I probably left it too long in pain / mobility terms. The quality of the planning, communication and care – before, during and after the operation – was exceptional. I was mobile (of sorts) within 24 hours and everything got better from there. I recently had an operation the staff were absolutely brilliant the hospital was clean and the meals were great I had an enjoyable stay with all the help I needed
Not a recent visit, but it was a pleasant one, (as much as a hospital can be…), friendly staff, successful surgery, no complications, nice food.
The theatre staff and nurses were all so lovely and I felt very well looked after and reassured in their care
