Central Oxford Osteopathy was founded by Principal Osteopath Jamie Dearing in 2011, creating a warm, welcoming clinic in the heart of historic Oxford. For our first ten years years Central Oxford Osteopathy was located by Frideswide Square. We now occupy a beautiful Victorian building on the Abingdon Road, overlooking University playing fields and next to Hinksey Park. Jamie trained and initially practiced in London, before moving with his family to Oxford. Since then his practice has grown with the addition of Associate Osteopaths, and diversified by hosting a wider range of health professionals – from acupuncture practitioners to talking therapists.

I have suffered with lower back pain since my first child was born nearly 9 years ago. I tried absolutely everything to find some kind of relief, I had physiotherapy and acupuncture I saw a chiropractor and an osteopath (elsewhere) recieved MRI and CT scans with nothing showing,

After 18 months of constant hip and groin pain and a ridiculous amount of scans, Physio and antibiotics and still no diagnosis for my pains, I went and saw Tom Bedford at Iffley Turn Practice who pretty quickly suspected I had a labrum tear in my right hip and suggested I had an mri arthrogram to specifically look for this issue.
Neil Morgan has been amazing in our sessions – he really takes the time to listen to you, and always makes sure that you are comfortable with what he’s doing. Very helpful, and highly recommended.

Steve is a very professional and kind expert of his trade. He didn’t just just help to relieve my spinal pain but whilst doing so, he also informed me of what he was doing and how I could prevent my problem from returning in the future. I had a chronic aherniated disk and literally each treatment led to a progressive improvement. I’m so grateful for what he did for me.
I visited Stephen because I have had a series of interlinked muscular-skeletal pains in foot. knees, hips and back for some time; these have become worse in recent years.
